Robinson Pharma, Inc. is pleased to announce our completed registration with the South Korean government for product exports. Recent regulations regarding exports into South Korea have been finalized, and Robinson Pharma has been quick to respond to such changes for the benefit of all parties. Registration with Korea’s Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (KFDA) allows Robinson Pharma to continue to grow business and build relations within the South Korean market. We present vast opportunities for companies to develop and market premium supplements for South Korea without delay or difficulty, resulting in productive investments for our business partners.
These new regulations for product exports to South Korea were first implemented on February 4, 2016 with the new Special Act on Imported Food Safety Control. It contains a new framework on imported food policies, which include dietary or food supplements and consolidates all policies for overall management on food products being exported into South Korea. There are two main requirements to the Special Act; mandatory pre-registration of foreign food facilities and establishments, and on-site inspections and evaluations within the exporting countries. Any companies that do not adhere to these changes will be suspended from importing all goods into South Korea. Robinson Pharma’s registration with the South Korean government provides unique advantages for companies that seek to expand their influence in the dietary supplement market, from domestic to international opportunities.
